PLATINUM
The finest choice in metal
Platinum is a metal like no other: rarer than gold, heavier in weight, and exceptionally durable.
Its cool gray sheen is understated, powerful, and modern—and hardly changes over the years.

Our standard: 950 platinum
At Vander Avort, in addition to 18-carat gold, we work exclusively with 950 platinum—that is, an alloy consisting of 95% pure platinum.
This percentage is the highest standard in jewelry applications and guarantees exceptional quality and durability.
The remaining 5% consists of noble metals such as iridium or ruthenium, which strengthen the structure without compromising color or purity.
Why choose platinum?
It is hypoallergenic:
platinum is naturally skin-friendly, ideal for sensitive skin types.
It is highly durable:
the metal retains its shape and mass, even after years of intensive wear.
It has a permanent color:
unlike white gold, platinum does not need to be rhodium-plated. Its natural color is a soft silver-gray with a distinctive depth.

Use in jewelry
Platinum is often chosen for engagement and wedding rings because of its symbolism of eternity and indestructibility.
Thanks to its weight and understated shine, a piece of jewelry acquires a serene, understated luxury that will last for generations.
