Maxime Vander Avort
As a business manager, goldsmith, designer, and gemologist
Maxime brings his extensive knowledge and experience
together to create jewelry that is both technically
perfect as aesthetically enchanting.
Each of Maxime's creations reflects his eye for detail, his sense of design, and his deep understanding of gemstones. He personally guides customers in designing custom pieces and ensures that each piece of jewelry tells its own unique story.
With Maxime at the helm, Huis Vander embodies the combination of craftsmanship, vision, and passion that makes the house so special.
Lore
For four years now, Lore, Maxime's partner, has been bringing her
creativity and vision at Huis Vander Avort.
She is the driving force behind the brand's presentation to the outside world: from campaigns and social media to visual storytelling and brand experience. Lore ensures that the elegance, exclusivity, and craftsmanship of our jewelry are not only evident in the boutique, but also come into their own online and in every customer experience.
With her fresh perspective, she reinforces the family story and gives the tradition of Huis Vander Avort a contemporary, modern dimension.
Natalie
Natalie joined the Vander Avort family team this year.
Natalie is jointly responsible for sales. Thanks to her training as a goldsmith, she also takes care of some tasks in the workshop.
Most people know Natalie from her wonderful business Nuvola, which she recently left. We welcome her with open arms and are grateful for her dedication and loyalty. Welcome, Natalie!

At Huis Vander Avort, the magic happens behind the scenes, where craftsmanship, precision, and creativity come together.
Here, ideas are transformed into timeless jewelry, with each stone carefully selected and each design handcrafted by our experienced goldsmiths.
The studio combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. This allows them to create both classic masterpieces and unique custom-made jewelry, perfectly tailored to the wishes of their customers.
From generation to generation
Founder Mikhael Vander Avort started the business forty years ago in Muntstraat.
Twenty years later, the boutique found a new home in the heart of Leuven, across from St. Peter's Church, where his wife Véronique joined him in running the business.
Meanwhile, the next generation has also made its entrance. Maxime, Mik and Véro's eldest son, joined the family business twelve years ago and symbolizes the future of Huis Vander Avort—where tradition and innovation meet.
