At Vander Avort, we work exclusively with 18-karat gold and platinum—a perfect balance between purity and wearability.
What is karat gold?
Pure gold is 24-karat gold.
Wij werken enkel 18 karaat goud. Dit bestaat voor 75% uit puur goud, aangevuld met andere edele metalen zoals zilver, koper of palladium. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een ideaal evenwicht tussen zachtheid en sterkte.
The result is a metal that is durable enough for everyday use, but loses none of the warm glow and prestige of gold.

DIFFERENT SHADES OF GOLD
Depending on the alloy used, a different tone is created – each with its own character:
YELLOW
It is classic, rich, and full-bodied.
WHITE
It is clear and sleek, often finished with a rhodium coating for extra shine.
Without a rhodium coating and palladium, the gold has a champagne color.
ROSE
It is soft and romantic with a modern twist.
Origin and sustainability
Most of our gold comes from recycled sources, without compromising on purity or appearance. We believe in circular luxury: valuable materials that can be passed down from generation to generation.
